Patch & Re-thatch

What a long old winter.

Our team of thatchers enjoyed the first proper warmth of the year out in the New Forest yesterday, although there was not quite enough strength in the sun to bring out the T-shirts and suncream.   The dry weather was however, ideal for the patching job in hand and with a bit of their thatching magic, the roof is now fixed and ready to face many more years of the Great British weather.

It is suncream at the ready for the upcoming week, the team are rolling up their sleeves for  a local re-ridging, re-thatching and refurbishment project in Dorset.
