Porch thatch

Team TW gearing up for next big job and they get to thatch a porch too!

Our thatching team is leaving the outskirts of the New Forest today and heading over to Hampshire tomorrow to start working on a complete re-thatch in top quality wheat reed of a lovely cottage where they will also have the opportunity to turn their loving attentions to the porch roof too.  The project should take a good 3 weeks or so to complete, so it is fingers crossed that the lovely weather carries on playing ball and that the boys can crack on with the job in shorts and T-shirts.

First job up will be stripping the old thatch back to base and clearing the decks.
